FREE LEGAL
ADVICE CLINIC FOR LOW INCOME
COMMUNITY MEMBERS
Do you need advice or assistance with a civil legal problem AND is your income lower
than 200% of the federal poverty guidelines?
For a household of 2 that would be less than $2,451.67 per month
For a household of 4 that would be less than $3,725 per month.
If so, take advantage of the free legal clinic on:

An attorney from the Michigan Indian Legal Services, Inc. Will be coming to TRIBE the
SCHEDULE to provide free legal consultations to eligible tribal members on civil matters.
Civil legal aid issues may include (among other things):
• Family law
• Housing - eviction from tribal public housing
• child welfare and ICWA
• Juvenile delinquency cases
• Per capita - garnishment and attachment of per capita distributions
• Health Care and Welfare Benefits
Please make sure to bring all the paperwork related to
your legal problem.
